Who's been TTc for a few months
We just finished month 2 with AF's arrival yesterday. Now, I can't tell if I'm imagining symptoms or am just way more in tune with my body than I've ever been before. In the last 2 months, I've had queasiness, nausea, "twinging" in my lower abdomen, and heartburn. Now, after 2 months, I'm starting to wonder if I'm either imaging these symptoms or somehow bringing them on myself.
Has this happened to anyone? Please tell me I'm not alone.

Re: Who's been TTc for a few months
I get queasy/nausea, light headed/dizzy, etc about a week or so before AF. All my AF symptoms are typical pregnancy symptoms! I also feel twinges here and there, but might just be a gas bubble... ovulation pains are definitly obvious though...
just finished 4th cycle off the pill. My last 3 cycles have been "text book" cycles!

You are totally not alone. I've been ttc for months and months and I frequently get nausea, sore boobs etc, and I have never been pg. I wish I knew if the "symptoms" were all in my head or if I'm just more attuned to my body and they are all normal PMS symptoms.

Thank you so much for posting this. I'm CONVINCED that I bring on these symptoms myself. The only thing I haven't had is sore boobs - ever. If they ever do get sore, I'll be testing every day. It's enough to make you crazy.

we've been unofficially TTC for about 6 months. Not really sticking to a plan yet. But now we have to get a bit more aggressive.

Re: Who's been TTc for a few months
I started TTC last month. I had all these symptoms and really felt like I could be pregnant. AF showed up, and I really think all the symptoms were in my head. This will be my 2nd month TTC, and I will not be reading into my "symptoms" because I was really dissappointed last month

I would have sworn on a stack of bibles I was PG, even during and right after AF. Sometimes I wonder if we create these "symptoms" I have heard of women who even get an inflated belly. The mind can play crazy tricks on you sometimes!

Re: Who's been TTc for a few months
I really try very hard not to read into symptoms. When I was pregnant with my daughter I really had no symptoms until after I got a BFP. I was a little crampy, but other than that, I felt totally normal. It's possible to be pregnant & feel nothing & it's possible to feel every symptom in the book & get a BFN. So many pregnancy symptoms are also syptoms of AF. I think a lot of the things we feel were always present, but prior to TTC, we never really paid attention. I vowed to pay more attention to my body after DD was born, & I've noticed a lot of things that I felt before, but never really paid any attention to what they meant are symptoms of AF or ovulation for me.

Re: Who's been TTc for a few months
Just wanted to add, as a psychologist, I 100% agree with the previous poster- I believe the mind can completely create the illusion of a symptom based upon very little to no real physical phenomenon. I worked with a girl with hysterical pregnancy, where her belly actually got bloated and distended because she was delusionally perpetuating the (false) belief that she was pg. I believe that these people really believe they are pg. It's so amazing what the mind can do.
Well, I wish each of us real bfp symptoms soon!

Re: Who's been TTc for a few months
See, I knew it was all in my head (and not my uterus ). Except for usually one day of a ridiculously short temper, I NEVER have AF symptoms until the day she arrives. I guess I just needed to know I'm not alone. Thanks!
