Why
shouldn't babies have more than 30 oz of formula/ day?

Re: Why
Nate also has about 36oz a day. When I told the doctor how much he was fed, he didn't say anything.

Re: Why
Jack drinks more then 30 a day and my doc is fine with it. He told me he wants to hold off on cereal till Jack is 4 months and then move to fruits and veggies.

Re: Why
We all just have big boys with BIG appetites.
Funny...notice how all of us have boys and they're big eaters...

Re: Why
My Dr said no more than 32 oz. When Cassidy was drinking more than that, they introduced cereal a nd cut down the amount of formula she got. I'm not too sure of the reasoning behind it though.

Re: Why
My dr said no more than 32 oz. I have hear dr who say no more than 40oz. Depends on the dr. I started solids when Kevin wanted more than 32 oz (before 4 months) because he is a big eater. He is also strictly formula fed. Dr said it had something to to with the amount of iron coming from the formula and something to do with milk in years to come but didn't get too detailed. Sorry I can't give a better explanation.

Thats probably it.. that they shouldnt have more than a certain amount of iron. Thanks!
