Why do I let eating/food stress me out?
I have a kid that doesn't stop eating and it makes me crazy. I just can't imagine she's that hungry all day. I don't want to withhold food, but I don't want her to overeat and develop unhealthy eating habits.
For example this morning - she had a whole lender's bagel with cc, a whole banana and a TON of Cheerios. If you've ever seen the little toddler bottle, she ate 1/2 of that. To me that's ALOT for a 14 month old.
The other day she ate 1 scrambled egg, and entire PB&J sandwich with 2 slices of bread, an entire apple and was still looking for more.
She eats at least 5 times a day. She will eat fruit and veggies, but still it's alot don't you think????

That does sound like a lot, but maybe she's still catching up on her eating from that stomach virus? I'm sure it's fine. My doctor always said to let DD eat until she wasn't hungry anymore.

OMG I would kill for this...my kid rarely eats anything. This morning he was begging me for a "buppit" (crumpet) so I gave him one, and he spent about 40 minutes holding it and licking it!!
Its so frustrating!!!

I don't think it's that bad, my 13-month old DD has 9 oz of milk, yogurt(or oatmeal with fruit), cheerios, and bread for breakfast. Lunch she eats 2 slices of cheese, some sort of veggie and some sort of meat. For dinner she eats whatever we eat and more than the reccommended toddler serving and she's skinny for her age. She drinks 4 or 5 milk bottles a day and a bottle of juice. And in between meals she munches on Gerber Puffs or Cheerios. Some babies are just hungry I guess. DD's ped has never said anything about it.
