Why do I read the news?
The story on the homepage of CNN just made me cry. I just don't understand why there are such people (monsters) in this world?

Ugh that brought tears to my eyes. I swear sex offenders should NEVER EVER EVER be released under ANY circumstances. They cannot be rehabilitated and are a huge threat to society. Makes me so angry!!!

It bothers me that they put out her picture like that for the world to see... I dont know why they did that? I thought they dont release identities of minors who are victims of sex crimes? And they showed a picture of her in that negligee - what will she think when she grows up? Its bad this happened to her - but did her pic need to be in the news and on TV???

I think they posted a picture of her because they don't know who she is or where she is. They stated she is only known as "Madison" from the tape.

ITA. I thought they were protecting victims of sexual nature crimes. Names and photos.
She needs to be shown so they can find her. He still has her in his presence. She is only 4 or 5 years old. So showing her picture will help them fnd her. PRAY!!!!!
Reading these stories make me sad, angry then worried. I dont condone violence but if anyone ever does this to my kids....and I find out....

I said the same thing when I saw that - and I say that whenever I read the news. I rarely watch the news or read the paper. I dont consider myself clueless or naive, I still get information but I avoid so much heartache by not seeing many things. Sick *@&$*!! It's those kinds of things that make me question life in general.
