Why do some parents...
Make you feel like a piece of crap after working your arse off for 16 hours just for their child?? And to top it all off the reason she was mad had nothing to do with me but I was the sounding board for them 
ETA: do you ever have a parent converstation that makes you think "why the heck am I in this profession?"
This is not the first parent to do this to me but its just like I am to tired and cranky to deal with this!

Absolutely, I always say the parents can be the hardest part of the job, especially in those high maintenance districts.
