Why do they only say give the yolk of the egg?
would you feed your DC french toast, pancakes or omelettes made with they whole egg?
at what age did you start giving the whole egg?
TIA

I thought it was egg whites first, then whole eggs.

I thought the opposite. We are going away and I don't want to lug around baby food all day.

Re: Why do they only say give the yolk of the egg?
do you think it is safe to give DC french toast, scrambled eggs, etc at a restaurant? (DH said they are probably powdered or liquid anyway like egg beaters)

I had heard this too. I want to make DD some scrambled eggs but I think I'm supposed to wait. She's 9 months old.

I used to scramble the yolk. Came out dry but he liked it. I have added the cooked egg to his baby food and he would eat it.

After trying the yolk for a few days, I scrambled the whole egg. They ate it for a few more days and since then I've done dishes w/ eggs in them, ie, French toast, etc. I would test the whole egg at home before giving it at a restaurant.

Re: Why do they only say give the yolk of the egg?
My dr. said give her the whole egg. If she's fine with it, then she's fine with it. We never had any problems.
