Why do things people say make me paranoid?
A woman that I work with told me that my belly looks "low" today and asked if it was too early for me to "drop"!! UMMM yes, it's too early!!! But why am I paranoid now that something is wrong? I feel fine - nothing feels different...baby is moving around, having a dandy ol time in there.....what gives! AHHH - can't people keep their thoughts to themselves!!!

I have "Selective hearing" I only hear what I want to hear during pregnancy..... It's a beautiful thing!

This is exactly how I've been. I'm only in the very beginning of my second trimester though, hopefully I can keep that up.
People can be so thoughtless. I'm sure you know that everything is fine. Just try and brush the comments off.

Next time she comments ask how she has time to see her many OB patients during the day while working at your office...wait, you mean she's not a doctor?   Oh and you can do this too-->

Because it's in our nature to worry about our babies - even from the start. I'm sure that you are fine. I try to NEVER let things get to me and here I am putting sandwiches in the microwave to kill the bacteria....I never did this with my other two pregnancies.

I'm carrying low, and everything is perfect with  so I wouldn't worry (or care for that matter) what other people say!

I take people's random comments with a grain of salt. Unless they are a medical professional, I feel like it is all hearsay.
