Why does everyone think my son is a girl??
Anyone know??
He looks like a boy to me. He is wearing a yellow and gray shirt and jeans and shoes that say Cheeky Monkey..he is quite clearly a boy.
Whats going on with this world.

When I'm out with Julia sometimes, and shes not in pink, some (usually older) woman say "oh he's so cute" I'm like SHE? There like oh I'm sorry, shes so cute! I'm like dont ya see her earing's and pink sneakers!

I was out with my little girl yesterday and she was wearing jeans with pink ruffles at the end and someone called her a he. I don't think people really pay attention.

Yeah I've had some people come up to me and say "oh how cute, how is she" and I always have to say "he"
When DH was young, one of his uncles said he was so cute that he looked like a girl...lol

I get that all the time with my ds, maybe because his hair is a little long (I haven't had it cut yet) they assume he's a girl. He's always in jeans and masculine shirts, so I don't know.

Whenever I have my grandson out and about with me, he is always dressed in something very boyish. It never fails to amaze me when people ask if he's a boy. Although, there was one time I was standing outside a store and a father had his child, who was dressed from head to toe in blue, in a stroller and it turned out it was a girl. Go figure!

One day I went to pick my grandmother up at the bank and went inside because she was taking forever. There was a woman with a baby next to her. I started making googly noises and faces because the baby kept looking at me. So, I turned to the mom and said "She's so cute." And, my grandma said "OH, that's a GIRL? The whole time I'm sitting here I thought it was a boy." I almost fainted. The mom was nice and said "well, sometimes people get confused by the blue car seat." then grandma goes "no, she looks like a boy to me." So I said "Gram, she's wearing all pink and even has earrings." and tried to change the subject real quick. And grandma kept it up. I wanted to crawl in a hole because the baby was CLEARLY a girl. I just looked at the mom apologetically.

People just don't pay attention. I get the same thing when Jordy is in pink and people ask me how old he is.

this may sound crazy, but I think its a compliment if a baby boy is mistaken for a girl. To me, it means he has fine features, I would be more insulted if I had a girl that was mistaken for a boy!

Used to happen to me all the time, when he was 6 weeks I had him at the mall in blue pj's this woman said she is so cute I said thanks but he's a boy and she said oh well he had hair so I thought he was a girl.
