Why does he hate his crib all of a sudden?
For the past 5 nights every time we put him in his crib he screams bloody murder.
Then I take him out and he is wide awake laughing and talking. I try over and over again until I give in a let him sleep in the playpen. I don't get it.
Last night he fell asleep in the playpen so I moved him to his crib. At midnight he realized he was in there and started screaming like a lunatic I ended up putting him in the playpen again.
Why is this happening all of a sudden?

I am not sure what it could be...Kerri hasn't done this...but hope whatever it is passes and he gets back to liking his crib

Ethan is going through something similar, only worse. He is 21 months old so he has discovered the skill of climbing out of his crib.
At least he will sleep in the PNP - Ethan has moved into our bed
Is the PNP in your room? Maybe he just wants to be closer to you...
As long as he's not in your bed, I don't think it's too bad...he will probably readjust and will be ok with the crib again, but don't push it for now...

I agree, I don't have any experience with this yet but I bet it's a phase and if you don't push him, he will be back in there soon. If he's sleeping in the PNP I would just leave him there for the night next time, he's safe in there, and maybe the smallness and the netting is cozier/more comforting to him for now.

Thank you all. The PNP is in our room. Last night I tried to CIO but he got sooo upset because I never really did that before he went #2 and threw up. I feel awful

Charlie has been doing this every night we are at my Moms. We're there more than at home so it's not like it's he's not used to it.
I don't know what to do.
