Why I love my mom---on her birthday....
My parents are in PR for my mom's big 6-0....hanging with my godparents and friends who all live there. I called around 10:30 am to wish her a happy birthday....and i think she was about 2 sheets to the wind. 
she was like "YIPEE! its my birffday!! your godmother and i are having a few drinks already..hehe--good thing you call me now rather than later--i don't know how i gonna be!"
my mom is NOT a drinker---and never gets to let loose. this just cracked me up big time...and wanted to share that those of us that good "depressed" over turning...30....35.....40...etc. hey--when you reach 60 you just wanna have FUN!
