Why is she crying on the car rides home?
Maybe somebody has an idea of why this is happening.
It seems that the past three times we have come home from being out at night, Sabrina has cried horribly in the car, nonstop. She cries big crocodile tears and gets so worked up she can't catch her breath. When we finally get home, I take her out of her carseat and she is warm and sweaty and it takes a good 15-20 minutes to get her to calm down including dancing around with her, singing to her (she seems to like to feel me singing) and nursing.
She has only done it coming home from my parents' house at night. When we were out during the day, she was fine.
Does she not want to leave my parents' house? Does she not like being in the carseat at night? I even sat with her last night, to see if she felt more comfortable and she just cried.
I don't know what to do

Im not sure if this would help, but maybe try feeding her before you leave your parents house. Having a full belly may make her feel better.

She could just be overtired from a long, overstimulating day!

I say try feeding her before you leave the house. Also, she could be overtired and just a lil cranky. Or she doesn't like being in the car because it's too dark. Maybe leave the light on inside the car.

I swear my DD was afraid of the dark back there when she was 2 months old. She would only cry in her car seat at night. Eventually this went away.

I would feed her before you leave your parents house and put her in her pajamas as well. We go to my parents every sunday night and before we leave, we give DS some bottle and I change his diaper and put his PJs on. Hopefully this will help.

Is it really late that you are leaving?
Maybe she needs to go to sleep before you leave?
