Why is she doing this?
DD just got over an ear infection, and she is teething...but I have noticed a pattern lately. Several times a week she wakes up at 4:00 am...and is up for good. She will not go back to sleep. She isn't crying, she just wants to play. She is cut down her naps from 2 to 1 a day, so I don't think she is sleeping too much during the day. It is torture, I really don't know what to do, or why she is waking. This morning I offered her some milk at 4:30 and she gobbled it down.
Help a tired mama out!

Re: Why is she doing this?
Ugh. I don't know why she is waking, but I have heard people say that since toddlers are habitual little creatures, she might have just made a habit of waking up at that time. Do you ever let her cry for a few minutes in the crib?
I wish someone had some advice, cuz I don't.
It will pass, though. It feels like an eternity now, but it will pass.

Re: Why is she doing this?
No advice here as my former-PERFECT-angel-baby-sleeper has been waking up at 11:30pm and has been refusing to go back to sleep until 2 am.
