why, no matter how much their paents anny and infuriate me..

I will always go all out for my nieces.

the little one was nominated student of the month and tells me as soon as I walk through the door. jokingly I say, "when is aunt of the month" and without missing a beat she says "you are aunt of the month every day" (that may not make much sense, but she's only 8 )

then, as we are eating dinner Luce decides to "feed" me my salad. so he's picking up lettuce and giving it to me and she's watching and says "jess, he loves you jess. you can just tell"

then the final straw....after dinner I said "tio and B are cleaning up" and she says "ok, I'll wash the dishes and Tio will clean the table" and she washed ALL of the dishes.

she helps me cook. she loves her little cousin and said she will be his sister since he doesn't have one yet.

If it means that I have to take a few kick in the teeth here and there...it's all good by me. she and her big sister...totally worth it.

True love- plain and simple. Of course your niece adores you. She senses how much you love her. Sometimes it's worth sucking it up.
