Why should I be this aggravated with my OB office?
You might all remember my Level II dilemma. The more I think about it, the more I want to switch doctors. I like the doctors but I am continually rushed and this one person in particular on staff there makes me nuts! I'm an easy-going person, always polite, never demanding, and yet I have a problem with her.
I was there yesterday for possible placenta previa and extreme fatigue and they wouldn't do blood work?? I don't even think I should be driving at this point. I feel as though I am being pushed off. YET, I had two transvaginals in one day? Why was that necessary? If the doc said the first was fine-why the second?? I used to think it was just the staff but now yesterday's doc sort of ticked me off.
I guess I need your opinions ladies. Would you switch at this point if it's always a problem dealing with them?

IMO, I think that you should feel comfortable with your doctors. If you aren't...then by all means switch. It's a nerve wracking thing to do midway through a pregnancy, but at least you won't have to be stressed out everytime you go to the dr., or worse feel like you and your baby aren't getting the care you deserve.

If it were me I would switch. I switched with my son around 22 weeks, and I was glad I did.

Re: Why should I be this aggravated with my OB office?
I really like Dr.Trongone in NSUH. He is highly recommended by NSUH labor and delivery nurses. He is very thorough with a good bed side manner. I had miscarriages and he was willing to do what made me feel comfortable, such as biweekly sonos, until I was more confident with my pregnancy. L &D nurse told me that he will not do a c-section unless absolutely necessary and he sews you up like a plastic surgeon would...whatever that means. Good Luck

Sorry to hear about it. I'd switch doctors. I don't know doctors in Nassau, sorry.

I have no rec. for ya, but yes, I would switch... seems as if you're starting the process to do so.
I know it's a PITA, but I'm sure you'll be happier and much more comfortable after the switch!
