Why won't the maternity look not go away! The style is cute BUT~

I understand. I wouldnt wear any babydoll styles til I was PG. Now that I am, people at work are actually passing comments that I am wearing them too early. You cannot win either way I assure you.

Are you serious? That is so wrong! 
I definitely can't wear them, as I wore one once and was asked if I was pregnant. I am now saving that shirt for when I actually AM pregnant.

I think the style is sooo cute, but it looks awful on me. The guy at the gas station asked me when I was due the last time I wore one!! Its been sitting in my closet ever since. I'll hold onto it until I'm really expecting, I guess.

I got that crap when I was preggo too. That's just a prelude to the 'how many babies are IN there??' nonesense. People $uck.
Now that I'm not pg anymore I don't want to wear anything maternity-like AT ALL but between what they're selling and this leftover belly I have, my options are limited.

As someone who is TTC-- I hope that I can take advantage of the style and not have to buy real maternity clothes.
It is hard to pull off the look though not PG... It depends on what you are wearing it with really.

I agree.
I have 1 shirt that I am scared to wear because I don't want to be asked if I am preggo. For now it is hanging in the closet!

One of my pregnant friends said this trend isn't the boon to her wardrobe she thought it would be. The tops aren't cut long enough (esp. for women who are later in their pregnancy), so there's always some belly showing.

It's not that they make me look like I have a big belly -- it's that they make me look like I'm *hiding* a big belly.

Bring back tailored tops, fitted tees and a-line dresses PUH-LEESE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I actually told a man at a store the other day "when is all of this maternity stuff going away? " and he said "I think women just want to be comfortable these days, so all the tops are loose"..I was like "whaaaaaat????- Skrew comfortable, I want to look good!"

I won't wear those either even tho I think they are so cute...I have never ever had a flat belly so no matter what I do I would look PG. Same as Goldi, I will NOT wear a shirt like that til I am pregnant.

i went from real maternity clothes to clothes that look like maternity clothes. A few months ago, i was still chunky so i could pass for an early preggo- it was depressing.
im done with this look!

Well they are not really maternity clothes so past a while you will need real maternity clothes. Those shirt are not really accomodating a full PG belly.
