Why would a baby that NEVER spits up
suddenly start? This girl never spits up, however the last few days she's been spitting up after every meal.
Should I be worried?

Re: Why would a baby that NEVER spits up
Is she starting to become more mobile and move around more? That would cause it. At her age, Ava's reflux had already gone away, but she started spitting up again because she was moving all around and the pressure on her belly would make her spit-up. I wouldn't really worry. If it continues, or you think it's more like vomitting, then I'd call the dr.

Re: Why would a baby that NEVER spits up
That exactly happened to us. At around 10 months Noah started to spit up, lasted until around 14 months. It was gross. I was glad when it stopped.

Re: Why would a baby that NEVER spits up
It could be that she's moving more now, or it could be that she's sensitive to something you're feeding her. Some fruits and/or veggies have more acid than others and will cause spitting up in some babies. Have you started feeding her something new recently?

Jacob has been spitting up more but we think its because he is not really burping after his bottles

Same here! I noticed DS has been spitting up every once and a while.......never used to in the past. I guess all the other posters are right must be due to age/mobility/additional food in their belly.

Re: Why would a baby that NEVER spits up
I know we blame everything on teething, but I swear when Ryan swallows all that extra drool, sometimes he chokes and some comes back up. Maybe that could be it?

Re: Why would a baby that NEVER spits up
I had the stomach flu and my DS started this the day after I got sick but only twice a day. I assume he had it too...
