WIDE clothes for boys
posting for a close friend at work...
his son is WIDE - he's not even a year and weighs i think 25 pounds or so....
he & his wife are having trouble finding clothes to fit him. i suggested Circo brand and he said that Target doesn't have much in way of boys onesies...we just went together and he's right - there were like NONE...
so - boy mom's with wider kids...what do you do???

Re: WIDE clothes for boys
Logan is "wide" - he could never wear circo, they're too narrow. Children's place, old navy, carters are ok, but she has to size up. shirts/pants are waaaay better than onesies. We gave up on them months ago.

Re: WIDE clothes for boys
Ds is 9 months and 22lbs and wears a lot on carter clothes. We also shop Childrens place, ON, JCP, and BRU
Almost all of his pjs are from jcp, or target.

Re: WIDE clothes for boys
My friend's son was always wide. They just have to buy bigger sizes. Like he was wearing 2T 3T at age 1.

Re: WIDE clothes for boys
DS is long, not too wide, but for sleep we wear footie PJs. I find the summer polyester Carter's ones have no give at all, and the 2T is way too tight for DS in the thighs and stomach.
My favorite are the Children's place jersey knit footie PJs--they have more stretch to them than the poly/cotton blends. We use footies all summer since we have central air.
During the day, he does shorts and tops or pants and tops, so no problem there.

Re: WIDE clothes for boys
Yes, my DS is growing out of 2T and is starting to wear 3T. He turns 1 tomorrow.
He hasn't worn onesies in months. He has outgrown Carters sets too.
He wears Osh Kosh, Jumping Beans from Kohls (these shrink - def get a larger size), and Childrens Place.
For pajamas, he wears 2 piece sets, mostly from Carters. I'll be buying him pajamas like this for the fall soon.
