Re: wierd pain
It's your sciatica. I have had it basically since the first day I became pregnant!! It is the worst!! Put a heating pad on it and it helps a little...but if you have DH rub it that works better. I have it every day and it only gets worse...sorry! My doctor is sending me to a physical therapist to manipulate my back and teach me stretches that help. Feel better!

Re: wierd pain
YESS!!! I had this a lot in the beginning and I think it is your sciatica (nerve). It would kill for a few minutes and then go away for a bit. There was nothing I could do to stop or prevent it. It makes you walk like a real preggo!

Re: wierd pain
Does the pain go down your butt and into your leg? If so, that is sciatica. Just please be careful with havine DH rub it. I had severe back pain that I thought was sciatica and it turned out to be sacroiliac arthralgia, which is a problem with you spine, NOT your sciatic nerve. When I thought DH was helping, he was actually harming.
I don't want to scare you, but I would just watch it and mention it to your OB at the next appointment.
I had to go to an emergegency appointment then see a spine specialist a couple of times AND I was going to physical therapy 2x a week.
I REALLY hope this isn't what you have, but please mention it to your doctor.

It actually does not go into my leg....it is centralized on my upper butt...it kinda feels like a bone pain does that make sense? It is very annoying, sometimes painful but moreso annoying. Thanks girls, I am only 16 weeks and I feel like an old lady already

I know exactly where you are describing. I would just watch it and if it gets worse, call your OB. Back pain is normal, but if it is SEVERE where you can't sit, can't stand, can't go up the stairs, etc., then that's when you should call your dr.
As I said, I don't want to scare you and diagnose you with something because I am clearly not a doctor.

Thanks for the info, I am going to see a specialist on Monday so I will mention it then.
