Wierdest thing just happened
I was laying on my back for a sec and noticed that my stomach kind of went lopsided. I felt my stomach and I am almost positive that I felt a body part of the baby. At first I was freaked out. Has this ever happened to anyone else?

Oh yeah, it happens all the time to me...I'm 38 1/2 weeks now. My stomach looks all weird suddenly, but I'm never able to identify which body part is which...I think it must be the butt causing the distortion

Haaaaaaaa! It happens ALL the time! I think it's the baby's butt that shifts throughout the day - in the morning my tummy will be lopsided, sloping to the right, and then an hour later I can watch as everything shifts to the left. It freaks DH out!!!

I haven't really seen it happen yet, but when I look at my belly sometimes one side looks bigger than the other.

Re: Wierdest thing just happened
Everytime I lie on one side I feel one of the babies kick/punch at the bottom of my side.

Re: Wierdest thing just happened
I feel the same kicking/punching that IrishTracy talks about. And then if I roll over from one side, I can literally see the baby's body moving from being tilted towards my one side to the other. It's like the baby flips over with me because of gravity or something. It's really freaky.
Also, if I go to sit up from laying on my back, and don't use my arms enough to push me up, and use my ab muscles, it like makes the baby stick out or something. I get this big protrusion thing (i don't know if it's head or butt or what) from my belly. It freaks my husband out and he yells at me cus I'll be like , woah, that was cool, watch, and I'll do it again.

Re: Wierdest thing just happened
Yes, the other day I felt the baby moving and DH was touchin my belly and he felt a very hard little part on it... maybe it was one of the baby's foot. And almost always I feel the same like IrishTracy when I lie on one side... I wonder if that is because the baby likes it or not.

Re: Wierdest thing just happened
It happens to me all the time. I can lie there and watch my belly roll from side to side all day. I still cant make out what body part is what though. And I agree about the belly button that hurts, it feels like a foot should be popping through any sec.

Here I was, all excited, thinking I was seeing my baby, and I saw my friend GIna last night and she said it's my ab muscle, that for some women it splits in pregnancy. I had heard of this but thought it split sideways and not longways. Man, I thought I was seeing the bebe.
