Wii vs. Xbox Kinect any opinions?
I'm looking to get a game system and was wondering if anyone has any experience with the Xbox Kinect? How does it compare with the Wii?

Re: Wii vs. Xbox Kinect any opinions?
Kinect just came out today.
It is pretty much the same thing but you have an added 3rd demension in which the Wii does not track and Kinect you don't need a joystick.
You can also add playstation move to the mix if you are gonna company the other two which uses both a camera and a joystick.
More or less, they all are doing the same thing. Its a matter of preference and what kind of games you and your family want to play.
Wii is more family and offer some good 1st person games.
PS3 will have a ton of in depth move games include modern warefar type games.
Kinnect since today is day 1 only has fitness and dance games. Many question how they can play advance games without a controller because you need buttons to do certain things.
Im an advid game. which the technology is cool, im not investing in this on day 1. I own all three systems and wii gets the most love even though it doesn't look HD. PS3 is starting to be played more as they have alot of games now that i brought.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

I
That was one of my main concerns as well. I would think you'd be limited to sports type games. You can't have any shooting games, or games that need specific actions, relegated to buttons on every other system.
They do have Kinectimals, which is a game where you either control or interact with animals. I've seen commercials for it. Cute, but I think it would get boring very quickly.
I would wait until there are more games before I did anything with the Kinect.
The PS3 Move seems to be the middle ground between the Wii and the Xbox. It has a controller like the Wii, but it also has the camera like the Xbox.
