Will Buy Buy Baby take back items....
that are on your registry but not marked as purchased?
Like if you try to return something someone gave u at Babies R US by adding it to your Buy Buy Baby registry...will that work? or not?

I believe they have different bar codes than for the same items sold at BRU.
That lets them know if the item was purchased from them vs BRU.

My shower was this weekend and I got a bunch of things that were not on my registry from buybuy baby, I went yesterday and they gave me a store credit for over $200 on returns that I had no recipt for anything. I was told that as long as they carry the item they will give you a store credit with no receipt.

i walked in there with about 7 items after my shower. no reciepts, didnt know which came from there or BRU (didnt even know if BBB carried them) and they took it ALL. For store credit  which was fine because I was buying other items

i went there with an item sold at both stores and was told it was from BRU and they wouldn't take it
but everyone else had luck so try it
