Will I be able to go to work after HSG?
If I schedule it for first thing in the morning, will I be able to go to work? How long does the test take?
Or maybe I should schedule it for late afternoon and just leave early. How long do you have to fast for? TIA!!!

You don't need to fast and ppl react differently to it. I only had one quick cramp and that was it, but some people have had more pain than that.
Take 3 Advil 30 minutes before the procedure. Personally, I was able to go back to work but that's not necessarily the case for all.
Good luck!

I also went back to work and was fine. You learn early on that you need to keep as many days available as possible when seeing an RE...so if you can just take a long lunch, come in late or leave early - you do.

I know - my work knows what's going on and they're supportive. I just wanted to know if I'd need to take a full day or not. Obviously, since I will need so much time, I want to minimize it when I can. Thanks.
