Will I ever really love the gym!
Years and years and years later of going to the gym cuz I know that my body can not maintain without it and I still hate it everytime!
It is so frustrating...........I have to put in a lot of time in order to maintain the fitness level that I want......and it is not easy and it does not make it any easier that I still dread it. I am going on one week of no gym. This is how I get sometimes....it is like I am angry that I have to spend 2 hours of my day...have to be a sweaty mess...have to be sore...have to play the mental push game....and then I hideout from gym for awhile. But the entire week I am not going I am anxious that body is gonna freak out cuz I have not been. It is just a vicious cycle.
I just wish I could love it more and it still was not such a fight....don't get me wrong I will keep up the fight and I know I feel better afterwards....but some days a good vent is in order.
Anyone want to share in my misery of daily gym going!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't remember for sure where I read this (maybe in a magazine article quoting Jillian Michaels?)
It said you don't have to love the gym, but you should learn to love how you feel after you go.
And I feel awesome afterward. Don't actually like going initially, but I always feel awesome when I leave :) Try to focus on that feeling!

I agree. The will power to get to the gym is tough. Its so much easier to go home and sit and type on LIF all night (j/k) You should be so PROUD of yourself, your doing such a wonderful thing for your mind and body. My favorite part is the drive home.. my windows get fogged up.. thats my hard work Maybe getting a personal trainer or a class to shake things up...eh?
