Will White Post Farms be open this weekend?
We are going to be on LI and my mom lives 5 mins from there-- thought it would be a good Sat activity since the weather is supposed to be nice.
Not sure if they are only open in summer...

It's open, but it's still indoors.

Its indoors (goats, pigs, sheep, rabbits, train, rock painiting, sand and playground area, play houses, chicken show) with a small outdoor area (llamas & cows). We were there last weekend. It is very HOT inside though. We stripped down to our undershirts!

I just got the latest email from them. Easter Bunny starts this weekend!! Admission $7.

hmmm... we would prob want to be outside and we don't celebrate Easter, so I would just as soon avoid the madness associated with the Easter Bunny.
Any other ideas for outside activities?
My dad wants to go to the Queens Zoo since he's a docent there, but I don't want to drive there from Melville!!
So, something eastern Nassau/western Suffolk is best. Any suggestions??
