Wilton Cake Decorating...

I am going to attempt to make Andrews 1st birthday cake like so many are.

I bought this pan on ebay and wondering where I get the icing to decorate it.

Thank you so much!

Just buy vanilla frosting and colored food dye. Squirt in the color you want and mix.

For the brown parts, just use chocolate frosting.

Use black icing in the tube for the outline.

Put the frosting into a pastry bag or press with the small star tip to make the design.

Re: Wilton Cake Decorating...

If you check out ACMoore or Michaels, they have cake decorating books there. They have a lot of supplies too.

I agree. I helped my friend make 2 cakes and we just used food coloring. We also used the pastry bags.It made everything so much easier.

Here is the cake we made (they started to melt a little because it was hot)

You're welcome. Just a major tip-
Use the spray nonstick stuff and FLOUR!!! Those Wilton pans are sticky. When I made this cake, the whole face ripped off so I had to wing it!!Chat Icon
