Window Treatments For bedroom - What Would You Recommend
Now that I have ordered our bedding for our room. I am thinking of doing drapes for our windows. What style drapes would you all suggest for this bedding? Can you post pics of the drape that you suggest?
My mother's friend will be making the drapes for me but I just need some pics of the style to show her. Also, I am thinking of doing silk striped floor length
drapes.

what color did you decide for the walls?
here are some options
stripe silk panels
embroidered silk panels
embroidered floral panels
eta: what about the panels shown in the bedding pic posted?

Thanks alot! For the walls Dh suggested we go with a neutral color something similar to what's in the pic.
As for the panel in the pic that is what I like. I will be going to the garment district with my mother's friend to look at fabric because she'll be making the drapes for the window.

i would do solid cream, blue or tan drapes, fan pleated (where the pleat is pinched at the top vs. in the middle). I'd also hang the drapes as close to the ceiling as possible, touching the floor. i think you could even add some type of trim on the ends.
while i love stripped drapes, it may be too much w/your bedding.

I tried looking on Macy's website where I ordered the bedding from to see if I see it but I didn't.

I would do something plain - a solid blue or beige (don't know what your wall color is)
