Windows
What style windows do you have?
Would you change them if you could?

When I did my "drive by" of the house before calling the realtor to make an appointment to see the inside - I told my friend that I really liked the house but the windows are first to go.... After our offer was excepted the first thing I did was hire a windows company to come in and take them out... I closed on the house on a Tuesday and they got installed that Friday... I had it all taken care of before we took prosession of te house....
So if you could I would... It totally changed the look of my house.... Image Attachment(s):

They are called sliders... They are normal windows for a ranch house...
What kind of house fo you have?? do you have a pic??

we have the same windows throughout the house....of course with the exception of the basement windows.
I would like to change the front window though to a picture window (without the inside frame things - don't know the name of them... )
eta: please excuse the crappy curtains....we're in the process of trying to decide on window treatments!   Image Attachment(s):

I have a cape, the two upstairs windows in the front are Awnings. Main floor are Casement's. I have two Bow windows that are also casement. The side of the house has both casement and Awnings.
The back of the house were the only two windows we have changed so far. They were Awnings, we changed to gliding/slider. Since are pool is right there we didn;t want anyone hitting there heads on the windows. We are about to change two more windows to gliders (these are located on the side of the house closest to the back of the house)
