Windows On The Lake - Mothers Day Brunch
Has anyone ever been? Is the place nice? Was the food yummy? Thinking of making a reservation there for Mothers Day but I wanted some feedback first. Thank you!!!

I'm not a fan of that place. I went to two weddings there and I stopped for Taco Bell on the way there the second time because I didn't want to eat the food again.

LOL, sorry but I wouldn't lie to you! Three Village Inn, Lombardi's on the Sound and a bunch of other places have bruches that I can vouch for as yummy. I'm not a fan of the Lombardi family but went to a Mother's Day brunch on the sound and it was outstanding.

Not very fond of the place in my opinion.
We've done East Wind many times for brunch. They do a really nice job.

we booked our wedding at their sister hall, and went to their open-house thing (or whatever you call it...too long since i was in wedding-planning mode!!). we were NOT impressed at all. the food was bland, and the place was ok. the thing that stands out the most in my mind is that we kept commenting on how dirty the windows were. at windows on the lake. lol.
we ended up having our wedding somewhere else, for other reasons, but it was a relief b/c i really didn't think it was anything great. no offense to anyone who has had an event there. just sharing my own opinions. i'd keep looking for something else for mommy's day.
