Wine Question
Once a bottle of red wine has been opened, how long does it stay good for if it is re-corked?
TIA

Re: Wine Question
I would keep it a few days at the most but I don't have a lot of experience keeping wine..I tend to drink it all.

Re: Wine Question
Depends on the kind of wine. It could turn as quick as one day. My dad corks red wine and throws it in the fridge. It lasts longer

Re: Wine Question
Not very long at all. Once the air gets to it, wine (esp red) turns pretty quickly and this is in a dual climate wine cooler. Room temp, it definitely turns even faster - a couple days max.

Re: Wine Question
Wine doesn't last that long in my house once it's opened, so I can't answer your question.

Re: Wine Question
I have one of those bottle stops that is supposed to seal it, but even with that I'd say 2 days, then its vinegar to me.
