Winnie Cooper & Becky Slater
Did you know that they were sisters in real life??
i just found that out a couple of months ago- it really threw my whole world out of whack at first....

Rebecca "Becky" Slater (Crystal McKellar, real life sister of Danica): Kevin's junior high school classmate and one time girlfriend. He dates her purely to make Winnie jealous and she punches him when she finds out he still likes Winnie. She holds a grudge against Kevin for several episodes and becomes a recurring nuisance. Her character is physically aggressive and hateful towards men.
No relation to AC or Christian Slater

I cant really find too many pics from her (fromthe time of the show), but just another blurb....
Crystal and her older sister Danica are both actresses and dances and began their careers as child stars.
She started his professional career in commercials at age of seven.Crystal McKellar became famous only for is role of Becky Slater in "The Wonder Years".She originally auditioned for the part of Winnie Cooper but Danica McKellar was chosen for.Danica McKellar is the sister of Crystal.She was graduate of Harvard Law School in june 2003.

Who knew!!!
Real life Winnie Cooper (Danica McKeller?) just wrote a book encouraging young girls to excel at math. I love that she is a positive role model, She was signing it at the B&N in Carle Place. Dh must still have a crush and wanted to go

McKellar was born in San Diego, California, but when she was seven years old, her family moved to Los Angeles. She and her sister Danica began to show interest in acting, sometimes competing against each other for roles. The two sisters were students at the Diane Hill Hardin Young Actors Space school.
When her sister won the part of Winnie Cooper in The Wonder Years, directors had strongly considered giving the part to Crystal. She in fact played Becky Slater, a recurring character, and onetime love interest of Kevin Arnold.
She was nominated for the Best Young Actress Guest Starring In A Television Series award at the eleventh annual Youth in Film Award in 1988 and 1989.
McKellar graduated from Yale University. While at Yale she was the editor of a magazine named Portia. She graduated from Harvard Law School in 2003 and is now an associate attorney at the law firm of Davis Polk & Wardwell.
