Winter birthday party ideas
A friend is looking for a lesser expensive option for her DD's birthday - 4 year olds some 3 year olds. Any suggestions - everything I can think of will run closer to $500.
What kind of parties have other people thrown? The child has a winter birthday so it can't be outside.

We've done the party places inside that run about $400 and we've also done the nail salon.
my DD with like 8 close girl friends and my nephew only cost me about $150 and they all had a ball getting their nails done.

See the family has a trip planned so I think they were looking to spend less than $400. I'm just not up on a lot of the places so I thought maybe some of the moms here might have some suggestions I didn't think of.
I think she wants to stay in Nassau if possible or western suffolk.
What about some of the ice cream places? Do any of them have nice parties?

I had DD#1's Bday at The Ice Cream Party Shoppe and it can be pricey too. Depends on the number of kids and the favors you do. Can she do it in her home?
