Winter solstice signals brighter days ahead
On Thursday at 4:22 p.m., the sun will reach the southernmost point in its yearly travels and will then start moving northward again. The days will start lengthening and we’ll be on our way to spring.

I'm so glad the days are getting longer...and we push the clocks ahead March 11th so only 2 1/2 more months of it getting dark early!
