winter themed lessons
Does anyone have any creative winter themed activities for 4th grade?

When we get back from break I am doing a lesson on The Mitten. I'm sure there might be a way you can bring that up to 4th grade..incorporate a writing, math lesson??

you could add onto this and do a Jan Brett unit. She has a lot of great winter themed books - the Hat, the Mitten, Annie and the Wild Animals, Trouble with Trolls, the Snow Bears (off the top of my head - I'm sure there are more)
she also has a great website with TONS of activities! www.janbrett.com
