Winthrop hospital tour
Winthrop Ladies
How often does Winthrop do tours of the New Life Center?
Do you have to register with them?
Do you have a contact/tel number to do so?

there is a number you need to call and schedule. Ask your dr they probably have information.

I got this info. from my doctor's office - but I'm sure you could call winthrop's main switchboard and be connected. You do need to register for the tour - it's either a slide show or just a quick tour of an actual room... I went into labor before my scheduled tour so I don't knnow how helpful it really is!

If you go to Wiunthrop's website there is a list of services the new life center offers.
I spoke to them last week.
The L & D tours are Monday afternoons ONLY at 1:30 pm. ( convienent right?) And no charge.
They also have a 1 and 1/2 hour oorientation to Winthrop program which is no charge and done at night a few times a month.
You have to sign up/register for both.
If you cant find the number , let me know, I will look.
The lady in charge of the scheduling is there M W F only.

Im giving birth there...do I need a tour??
Doc hasnt said anything to me, he just recommended it in beginning.
I know where maternity is since my niece was just born there.

What was available last week for a "tour" (you see a laboring suite). She told me it was not if you had a scheduled c-section.
April 30th
May 21st
1pm
(be on time).
Orientation (presenation and no tour):
April 10th (forgot the other day available!!!!)
7pm
All is free!
