Winthrop v. North Shore Manhasset
Hi ladies! I am new to the boards. DH and I are not TTC yet but I am looking for a new OBGYN and would like to choose a doctor that is affiliated with the hospital I want to deliver at.
Please share your experiences of the two hospitals.
Thanks!

I am with Dr. Klein and Dr. Nimaroff who are in Great Neck and are affiliated with NSUH-Manhasset. I am very pleased with their practice. Dr. Klein is a top maternal and fetal medicine specialist who specializes in high risk pregnancies. I see him eventhough I am not high risk.

Re: Winthrop v. North Shore Manhasset
I can't speak from a 'mom' perspective, but i did clinical rotations at birth and thought they were both great hospitals in the maternity sense. IMO- the birthing suites at Winthrop are gorgeous, and blow away NSUH, but the post partum unit at NSUH was much nicer than Winthrop and the rooms (basing it on the doubles) were much bigger there, too. The nurses for L&D and PP at both hospitals were great- there wasn't really one the stuck out above the other. I really don't think you can go wrong with either one.
