wipe warmer and bottle warmer??
was just wondering if you all purchased one of each of these or registered for them? I keep hearing mixed reviews - are they a waste of money? absolutely necessary? thanks for your opinions...

Re: wipe warmer and bottle warmer??
I didn't have either. I just hold the wipe in my hand for a second before I use it.
And Sarah got bottles cold right from the fridge or room temperature.

Re: wipe warmer and bottle warmer??
You can get by without both of them. The wipe warmer I never got. Someond had offered me theirs but DH said no. His friend has a son who would scream when he needed to be changed anywhere outside of his house because the wipes weren't warm.
As for the warmer, my husband used it to heat up the bottle since my stuff was on tap.

Re: wipe warmer and bottle warmer??
I registered for both and i've seen that the bottle warmer has been purchased but not the wipe warmer. I may not get that if I don't get it at my shower. One of my friends said it's a waste...

Re: wipe warmer and bottle warmer??
I registered for a small bottle warmer that you can plug into a car lighter. I wanted it for when we're on the boat and I have her bottle in the fridge. I can just plug the warmer in and take the chill off her bottle.
I didnt bother with a wipe warmer because people told me that the baby gets used to it and then when you're out and the wipes arent warm, the baby cries a lot more because they arent used to the cold wipes.

Re: wipe warmer and bottle warmer??
I did not have either. Molly took her bm bottles right from the frig after the first 2 months.
The wipe warmers can be a fire hazard so you have to VERY careful that the wipes never get too dried out..you need to add water to the them.

Re: wipe warmer and bottle warmer??
A friend gave my her bottle warmer, but to be honest I don't think I'll use it. I've heard babies who always get warm bottles, will not take it any other way.
As for the wipes warmer, thought it would be a waste, so I didn't bother.

I have a wipe warmer and love it even when I want to wipe my hands it feels good. As for th ebottle warmer I just use room temp bottles if I use powder adn if I use the ready to feed just boil some water or run it under hot water . The bottle warmer is not necesseary
