Wish me luck on my breast sono, ladies!!
Freaking nervous over here!!
My RT boob hurts and has a lump in it so not looking forward to someone squishing it :(((

Wish me luck on my breast sono, ladies!!
If you are going for a sono, they don't squish your boob the way that they do for a mamo - it's just a sono wand sort-of pressing up against your boob. Not uncomfortable at all! I wish you luck, I hope it's nothing, just a cyst. Keep me posted, if you need to do a biopsy, let me know, I have a GREAT doctor that has done all of my mom's recent breast biopsies - gorgeous office, very sweet doc, and gets results to you ASAP. Hopefully you won't need that!

Pressing will still inflict the same pain :( ugh it's so uncomfortable!!! Thanks Jess. Hoping I won't need that but good to know someone recommended.

Good Luck - ask if you can take tylenol or something before hand to reduce pain.

It hurt like HELL but luckily they didn't see anything obvious. The sonographer saw an area of dense tissue but no cyst or tumor. The radiologist also came in and did another scan from a different angle and said she did not see anything that stood out as abnormal. They are thinking the change in hormones is causing the dense tissue and therefore pain. I never heard about any of this. I can def feel something but not an obvious lump, just the thickness I guess. I'm hoping it doesn't become anything! So nervous still but glad it came out good.

Never had dense breasts tissue until I started IVF. Last mammo I had few weeks ago they noted that although it's normal I now have breasts dense tissue. Damn hormones!!!
