Wishing wells
Ok silly question but my MIL asked what goes in a wishing well yesterday - something for the Dad? UM no it's all for the baby - I told her inexpensive things like rattles, pacifiers, bibs, etc.
She wanted a list to send to her friends since she already told them to get her son presents (not sure what they would get him that fits in a well for a baby shower, but ok)
So bring on the suggestions.
Thanks!

Re: Wishing wells
Wipes! You go through so many and i actually received 2 packages of wipes at the hospital from people and I was very grateful because I didnt realized how many you go through. But everything else you said I think would be good too. I dont think I would recommend diapers in a much larger size b/c my SIL recently told me that diapers expire which I thought was a little odd but she said that each package has expiration dates. They could also put those hanging things you attach to the infant carrier handle so it occupies the baby.

Re: Wishing wells
maybe this will help if your invites didn't go out yet- I'm including this in an insert w/ the invite- it also has on it registry info and directions:
Baby wipes, teething rings, diapers galore. Onesies, bibs, books, blankets, binkies & more. If each guest would bring just one of these; Our new mommy & baby would surely be pleased. No need to wrap it, your name don't tell; She'll find the essentials in her Wishing Well.

Re: Wishing wells
Donna thanks for the list - I just emailed it to her
Dina that's a really cute poem, unfortunately the invites went out already. They did the storybook poem and put "wishing well" on the registry cards. I just thought everyone kinda had an idea of what to put in it.
