Re: With all this talk of christmas... what is everyone having...
Lets see for Christmas our familys have had turkey, Ham, def Pasta, christmas eve is the fish stuff not the pasta, either tortellini or chicken soup for appetizer too, stuffed artichokes, chicken cutlets ( fried), fried gordunes dont know how to spell but Italians will know what I mean I spelled it the way it sounds, its like a celery, stuffed mushrooms, asparagus, shrimp and cooked calamari. I think thats about it.
when we go to my grandmas its Spanish food so we get the Spanish rice, pasteles, empanada's, acoulpudio's, turkey and pork.
edited to say oh yea forgot the Roast Beef, thats at Grandma's too.
My stepfamily and DH family are Italian.

Ham Trukey Roast beef
(are you talking main courses or side dishes too?) sorry- im just trying to think of ideas.. if i offered to have it at my (non-existant) house, everyone would probably just bring a dish, out of fear of having to eat anything *I* made

I am thinking about having a spiral ham. They have really good ones at Costco that come with the sugar glaze to put on it. Will probably make mashed potatoes and some side dishes different than what you have on Thanksgiving.
