wow really..i have nver heard of prices like that for jones beach. I saw Velvet Revolver there 2 years ago and they werent even close to that price.

Yeah me too....DH loves them and I wanted to get them for Fathers Day but come on those prices are ridiculous

Okay...this is the third time we've gone through this.
The tickets are NOT $199 as a normal price.
LiveNation
and
Ticketmaster
both have AVAILABLE tickets for Jones Beach starting anywhere from $30 to $60. Which is the normal price it's always been.
The reason the Velvet Revolver tickets are so much is because it's sold out and the brokers (stubhub, tickco, etc.) are now selling the tix at a premium. And their websites are the ones that come up first when you google cuz they have the tickets.

seriously! I looked at the prices for some of their concerts and   NO THANKS! I realize I haven't been to concert in AGES and I'm a little out of the loop, but I am not spending $150 to see a show  outdoors no less!
