Ok lady...it's dark..there's multiple cops on scene which means something popped up when they ran this guy's info or the plate...cops don't just gather round to see what kind of ticket the others are writing...it's dark and you say you have no weapons...phew...well it's a good thing you said that, cause no one ever lies about having weapons or drugs or warrants...if you went back in your house like you were asked you would've been fine...I have no sympathy for you. You were asked multiple times. You were given the option to not get arrested.

I *might* have a different opinion if this was during the day. But it was dark, she already stated that she knew him, and she was right on top of the police. The cop also mentioned that it was an anti-police neighborhood. It wasnt like she was on her porch filming. She was on the sidewalk about 3-5 feet away from the scene. She was practically on top of them. Personally all that combined would make me need to concentrate on her and detract from the traffic stop which could be dangerous. Personally if she had backed up 10 feet (and not even gone in the house) and kept her trap shut, the police would have dropped it. But she chose to be a pest, be a wiseazz, and I think the police were within their rights.

I think the woman was looking for trouble. WHY was she taping it at all? Did it have anything to do with her? She was being nosy and got on her high horse.

she was trying to cause trouble and was warned 7 million times. she knew the suspect. cops were right, she was wrong.

The video is a distraction to the cop and the investigation he was doing. It has nothing to do with him trying to hide anything.

People try to distract cops all the time so that is causes them to mess up their investigations.

The officer has the authority to tell someone to go back in their house-for the safety of everyone around.

ETA: after now watching the video I feel the police did nothing wrong and she was looking to start trouble from the beginning... "Im just in my yard taping what you are doing, it's my right"... come on! Some people just have it out for the police, trying to make them out to be the bad guys. The police were concerned for their safety as well as hers. DH in LE and if he were in the same situation I would expect him to do the same thing. I really hope that the charges stick! I'm sure she will try to file a lawsuit, lets hope she doesn't win that either!

The cops were not wrong. She was told to go in her house, for her safety and everyone else in the area. If something had happened and she was injured, she'd be suing them for not protecting her or not doing their job properly. I'm sure the video camera has a zoom lens - she could get just as clear a video from her doorway. And she doesn't understand why she's being arrested???? She was told how many times to go in her house or she would be arrested. She can't be that stupid. It's as if she was trying to get the cop to do something wrong so she could get it on tape.
