wood deck & never ending snow - will it ruin it?
is it going to ruin my wooden deck? it's been sitting there for weeks.....it's a big deck.... guess I should have dh shovel it off?
what do people do?

Is your deck stained/sealed? If it is - it should be ok. My parents have a wood deck and the only thing that has damaged it throughout the years has been carpenter bees.

my parents have had a wooden desk with 30+ yrs, not sealed or stained and it's still standing!

If it is sealed it should be ok...If not once the warmer weather comes have it powerwashed and sealed.
One bad winter shouldn't kill it though
