Anybody go there? I want to take the ride, but is it better than Tanger?

It is SO much better than Tanger. There are just so many more stores and more high end stores.

Re: Woodbury Common Outlets

I'd honestly say its about the same as Tanger.

It used to be the best around, but Tanger has improved.

Re: Woodbury Common Outlets

i guess it depends what you're looking to buy, too.

If you're looking for a Fendi or something, you won't have luck at Tanger.

I am sure there are some bargains to be had, but I honestly don't see what the huge draw is that requires a dozen state troopers to direct traffic in and out of there on the weekend Chat Icon

Does Tanger get that kind of volume?

Re: Woodbury Common Outlets

I love the Woodbury Commons but I can't compare it to Tanger. I haven't been there in a while.

Woodbury has giant amounts of people but I had the best shopping experience there. I found tons of stuff to buy.

I think it's worth the trip.

I like the physical arrangement- the way it's more like an outdoor mall than the sidewalks at Tanger- I don't know if that makes sense. No streets to cross once you are out of the parking lot, if I remember correctly.

As for stores, both Tanger and Woodbury have stores I like. But I would never go to either place on a weekend!

Re: Woodbury Common Outlets

It's nice, but it's mostly high end stores. So it really depends on what you are looking to buy. I wouldn't go out of my way to get there though. And like someone mentioned, it's CRAZINESS on the weekends. I can't imagine how it is now with the holidays coming up.

Depends on what you are looking for - they have higher end stores than Tanger. IMO it's worth the trip.

OK..I'm going with my friend and we're definately taking the ride there.

I don't plan on really buying anything at the very high end stores, but it's fun to look!

Re: Woodbury Common Outlets

Actually like Tanger better, it has more affordable stores. Not into the high end stuff.
