woodbury commons directions-updated

I looked online but I am having a brain fart.

I can take:
Northern state
cross the throgs
cross the George
then what?
take 287 to exit 16?
I am so confused for some reason

I went:
throgs neck to NY Thruway
crossed tappan zee bridge
to exit 16 and whamooo there I was LOL

even took a side trip to pier one and homegoods in middleton hehe

thanks for all your help

great deals at the outlets got stuff at ann taylor and nautica etc etc
and great stuff for the house on sale at pier one

from George W. either take Palisades to Exit 18 follow signs to Route 6 - Get off at Route 32 Central Valley - make right - just ahead on your right

(or you can hook up with 287 from the Palisades exit 9W)

or from George W take Route 4 West to Route 17 North to the thruway to exit 16

We take Northern to Cross Island to Throggs Neck to NYS Thruway to Exit 16. It's right off the Thurway exit. No need for the George.

No, it's not the same as the Palasades. It's 87, and yes the signs say to NYS Thurway. You don't have to go through Jersey at all.

taking 95 to 287 to 87/thruway is the longest way to go from LI.

Going through Jersey is actually shorter.

and Palisades Pkwy is a nicer ride IMO - plus cheap gas if you go through NJ.

ITA! I LOVE the Pallisades!! And you can get gas ALOT cheaper right off the GWB on the Pallisades.

there is a faster way thru NJ

GWB to route 4 west,

to route 17 north

you pick up the thru way at 15

you get off at 16

it's about 12-15 miles between 15 and 16

that way takes me less then 1 hour from the throngs neck

I get gas on route 4 in NJ- I paid $2.89 for plus the other night

I live 5 minutes from there and travel for work to/from Queens once a week.

The shortest way definitely is the throggs neck to 95N to the Hutch north to exit 13 (cross county pkwy) on the cross county STAY TO YOUR RIGHT take exit 4N (NYS throughway/ 87 N) Take 87N to exit 16.

If there is traffic on 87N, get off at 15A (route 17 in Tuxedo) and take 17 all the way up (it will be about 25 minutes) to the commons.
