Woohoo! I did it!
Second goal reached! My first goal was to use the C25K program to eventually build up to running 30 minutes, which I accomplished about 6 weeks ago.
My next goal was to increase my speed. I was running about 12-13 minute miles, so I started interval training during my 30 minute runs to increase my speed, about 3 weeks ago, with the goal of achieving 3 miles in 30 minutes (10 minute miles).
And I did it yesterday! I ran for 3 miles, and did it in exactly 30 minutes!! My lowest interval was my highest only 3 short weeks ago!!
Next goal is to run it in 24 minutes, with 8 minute mile averages
