Re: Work and IVF???
i have a desk job, sitting on my bum all day, so I am ok, but I think Dr Scholl said an active job (like yours) would need time off - any chance you could do some desk work during the 2WW

Re: Work and IVF???
I took the day of retrieval off (you have to because of the anesthesia).
And I took the day of transfer off. Just a personal preference for me - I knew I wouldn't be able to concentrate at work that day.
Lots of women I know went right back to work and have gotten BFPs.

same here, I took off. I wanted to relax and put my feet up the rest of the day.

Re: Work and IVF???
You must go on bed rest for 2 weeks with your feet up and eat pineapple!!
OK just kidding.
I think the day of retieval you should take off - you will be under anasthesia. The day of transfer, considering that your job is very physical and stressful, I would take off as well, my RE said to "take it easy" but continue with my normal lifestyle.
Amy honey why you always shoutin'? !!!

Retrieval...I was off the day of...The next day I had a wake but I would have stayed home anyway, I was uncomfortable and then I went to work one day and stayed home the next, still had some trouble walking around.
Transfer, that day( friday) and went to work Monday.
