Work Vent: 2 days left and
I come in this morning to my desk being completely trashed. My boss had to work at my desk Friday while I went to my Dr's appointment. She TRASHED my desk. She moved everything from where I keep it. mixed my piles up, took stuff home & did not tell me and here's the best. left open food on my desk ALL WEEKEND
My last day here is tomorrow, but really, is this necessary? Now she is out today while I am here PG & sick & I have n idea what to even do she trashed my desk so bad. Plus I have been hearing from my co-workers that she did nothing but bad mouth me all day Friday.
I am so going home. Who the hell needs this?

that really sucks
I would get a big trash can and throw everything away...if she doesnt care that you leave eveything in order before you go.....neither should you!!

I am so tempted but I do not own the files, they are owned by outside advertising agencies. I'll tell you something I am not doing a stitch of work today. They can kiss my rosy -red a$$.

That was so unnecessary of your boss to do that. Sounds like she did it on purpose, guess she is not happy with your leaving, huh? . Just make a report to HR and leave. You don't need this crap.

yeah, and she knows too.

well if she wants to work like a maniac while expecting that is her "problem" and her choice. She put her job first before her baby, not many people do that. This stuff makes me so mad because I've have seen a few situations where pregnant women were treated unfairly. One of the bosses wouldn't let this pregnant lady wear sneakers. she made her put her shoes

Problem is I work in NYC & live in Babylon. If I can avoid coming in again I would prefer that, but since no one is getting back to me I think I am outta here.
Obviously the exit interview is not that important if they don;t care enough to call & reschedule it

Screw them...its time for you to pack up all your files and make a hard copy of all of your contacts. After you get your contacts on disk, delete them. Then wave buh bye on your way out.
