Work vent....annoying habits
My assistant clears her throat a minimum of 100 times a day during an 7.5 hour work day. I cringe everytime I hear it. It makes me crazy. She told me a few years ago that she has some kind of blockage in her throat. I am so mean but.....that's not my problem.
She also:
Uses Q-tips at her desk
Leaves used tissues on her desk
Walks around with bare feet
Sucks her teeth probably 50X per day
I am at the end of my rope.
Sorry....just needed to get that out!

Seriously though everything you mentioned would drive me to drink if I had to listen to it all day.

Oh, she does that too. She also has tweezers and picks dirt out from under her nails.

even if you know there is something wrong, it doesn't make it any easier to deal with b/c I have a guy that sits on the other side of my cube BUT very thin aluminum wall between and he is great..BUT he has Terets or something similar and he does this sound - like a puff of air) but no joke, every 5 - 10 seconds, and all day.
this is in addition to the ICE chewer and folks who eat with their mouths open. Uggghh

Thats funny you mention the throat clearing. My mom does this, i know it is annoying. But she can't help it because of a post nasal drip. She gets embarrassed everytime she does it. She honestly hates it. its only in the morning when she gets it.. But I know what ya mean by the constant clearing!! LOL eh-eh-eh-um...

That's me too. I hate it so much. DH says it drives him nuts. I try to keep it quiet, but sometimes I can't. I wish there was a way to just get rid of it.

No you didn't. It's just something I can't control, you know? It's not like when you have the sniffles you can blow your nose. This is just constant snot running down your throat. Sorry TMI, but that's what it is lol. Sometimes it gets stuck in your throat so you have to clear it to get it out. It succks @ss!

This wasn't a constant thing, but something gross an old co worker did..
We would have b-day cake once a month for everyone in that month. Well, this one lady was always in charge of getting, cutting and serving the cake.
The problem was that she would use her hand to help get the cake onto the plate AND she would lick her fingers in between each piece
Needless to say, there was a lot of uneaten cake. People would tell her to stop, but she didnt care.
Geez lady, its not like you are serving it to your family! Even that's gross

I can't say I have co-workers with annoying habits... nothing I've ever really noticed... I just hate people that are loud and everyone around them has to hear their conversation... and I despise people who leave the bathroom without washing their hands - that's just NASTY!!!!

My DH's business partner (whom I work for) says "hell yea" at everything. Like even when a package from fedex comes he says "hellllll yeah". He doesnt say it excited though...its so weird and annoying lol.
