Working from home PT?

In a perfect world, I would love to make a little extra money working from home. Just a few hours a week. Like 8-10pm after my LOs are asleep. Anyone have any recs? Or am I dreaming? Chat Icon

Medical billing and coding can be done at home with flexible hours. I have no idea how hard it is to get this type of job but it may be an option.

How do we go about finding these openings though?

I have a job doing transcription with a company called 3 play media. Not sure if they are looking for more people right now but you can check their website.

I would be very wary of many of these posts for WAH jobs that are online. But there are some places that are trustworthy-

WAHM.com has listings that I think are partially vetted, so you may still need to research any listings to make sure they are legit. The best thing about that site is that they also have a pretty active forum which might give you a good sense of what kind of work is out there, and you might find some job leads as well as scam warnings.

Flexjobs.com and VirtualVocations.com are also good. Both require inexpensive subscriptions but you get peace of mind because they vet their postings. You don't need to subscribe to both as there tends to be a lot of overlap of the jobs. IMO it's worth the money. I have used both, at different times.

Appen Butler Hill hires lots of virtual PT staff and there is another company called Lionsgate, I think, which is similar. I have done some work for Appen and they are a good company to work for, pay is decent and comes when they say it will.
