Working Moms--How many sick days?
Have you taken for the year already????
ETA: I have taken 4 since Dec 07 and i am sick again.
We have unlimited sick days but I always feel bad taking them.

I get 8 sick days and 2 personal days (which I can use as sick days) for a total of 10 days. I only have 2 days left.

I took one official one for when DS's temp spiked to 103.5 and the dr was contmeplating having us go to the ER. But I had to take two when my DH got caught working overtime and I couldn't get to work because someone had to be home with DS. Worked for me. Total of 3.

I was on maternity leave so I took all 10 days that I rolled over.. but since I came back I've taken 2 sick days. I earn one a month and I have 3 in the bank right now.
I'm already trying to save up sick and vacation time for my next pregnancy. Hopefully I can save up at least as much as I did this time..

I do not get paid for time taken off but I have probably taken at least 10 so far. Probably more. That's what happens when you loose interest in your job

I can work from home but it is hard to put in 8 hours when you are caring for a sick child. when mikayla had coxsackie I was home with her for 4 days and took 2 sick days

if you are sick, you are sick.
and I don't think 4 since december is any reason to feel guilty

I've taken 6 since January and they have all been for when DS was sick, not me. When I don't feel well, I just work from home.

We get 10 for the year. I have taken 4 1/2 so far and never feel guilty. If Im sick or my DDs need me then home is where I need to be!

I think I have taken close to 3 weeks with all the viruses and ear infections !
